Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Zvsquared platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zvsquared ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Service and Eligibility

The Service provides AI-assisted interview preparation, practice problems, mock interviews, progress tracking, and related tools. You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use the Service only after obtaining that consent.

The Service is educational and does not guarantee interview, employment, examination, or other professional outcomes.

3. Accounts

To access most features of the Service you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password and be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at support@zvsquared.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
  • Not create more than one account per individual without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent purposes.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract content or data from the Service without our express written permission.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or any content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including problem sets, explanations, software, graphics, and brand assets — is owned by or licensed to Zvsquared and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes. This licence does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any Service content without our prior written consent.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.

6. Your Content and AI Processing

You retain any rights you have in answers, drafts, notes, and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. AI-assisted features send relevant content to our AI service provider to generate feedback and assessments.

You are responsible for content you submit and must have the right to use it. Do not submit confidential employer information, trade secrets, personal data about other people, or content you are not authorised to share.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Certain features require a paid plan. Monthly and six-month plans renew automatically until cancelled. A lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that provides access for as long as Zvsquared continues to offer the purchased Service; it is not a guarantee that the Service will operate indefinitely. The price, billing interval, and included access shown at checkout form part of these Terms.

Stripe processes payments. By purchasing a plan, you authorise the stated charge and any applicable recurring charges. You may cancel a recurring plan through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout.

We may change prices or plan features prospectively. For recurring plans, material price changes will apply no earlier than the next renewal after any notice required by law.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

AI-generated feedback may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding how to use them.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZVSQUARED AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 100.

10. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the Service. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to your use of the Service, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections. Any dispute must be brought before a court or tribunal with lawful jurisdiction unless the parties agree to another permitted method of resolution.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent in-app notice before they take effect when required by law. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
